About DebtFreedom

Most people carrying debt have never seen the one number that matters most: the actual date they'll be free of it. Not a vague “one day” — a real month and year. We think seeing that date, and how small changes move it, is genuinely motivating and clarifying. So we built a tool that works it out in about two minutes, for free, without asking for a budget or a login.

You enter what you owe. The debts you type stay on your device — they're never sent to us. We calculate a conservative debt-free date from your numbers, and let you try changes (like rounding up a payment) to see the date move. If your situation looks genuinely stuck, we show free help first.

We don't lend money, sell loans, or push credit. If it looks like you're struggling, the first thing we show you is the National Debt Helpline (1800 007 007) — free, independent, confidential financial counselling. That's the right first step for most people, and it costs nothing.

The tool is free, and it always will be. We don't sell your data. The only way we earn anything is this: if — and only if — you ask us to, we can refer you to a debt management provider we work with, and they pay us $50 for each application submitted. We tell you this clearly at the point we ask, we show free help first, and we're a referrer only — we don't give debt advice or decide whether they're right for you. We'd rather be upfront about the one way we make money than bury it.
